ITV will air five new episodes of detective drama Midsomer Murders when it returns for its sixteenth season.
Filming will begin later this month on the show, which is produced by Bentley Productions and will air later this year.
The producer is Louise Sutton and the executive producer is Jo Wright.
In the previous 15 seasons, 291 people have died in Midsomer – 268 murders, 12 accidental deaths and 11 suicides, with a further nine deaths from natural causes.
