Ashley Jensen will star in a Christmas crime drama for Sky1.
Agatha Raisin and the Quiche of Death (1×120′) sees Jensen play a PR-turned-detective who, after moving from London to the countryside, becomes a murder suspect when she enters a quiche-making competition.
Written by Stewart Harcourt and based on the novel series by MC Beaton, it is produced by Mammoth Screen and Free@Last TV.
Harcourt executive produces with Cameron Roach, Helen Gregory, Michele Buck, Karen Thrussell, Barry Ryan, and Kathleen Hutchison. The producer is Matthew Mulot.
Sky Vision will handle international distribution rights.
