Jack Bauer will return to Sky1 after BSkyB acquired the new season of action drama 24.
24: Live Another Day, will be filmed in London ahead of its summer debut on Fox in the US.
The 12-episode season will then air in the UK on Sky1, while Sky subscribers will also be able to catch up on the entire 24 series (seasons one to eight) on demand.
24: Live Another Day, licensed in a deal with 20th Century Fox Television Distribution, will include a cast featuring Kiefer Sutherland, Mary Lynn Rajskub, William Devane and Kim Raver.
The series is produced by Teakwood Lane Productions in association 20th Century Fox Television and Imagine Television. The series is created by Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran.
The executive producers are Howard Gordon, Evan Katz, Manny Coto, David Fury, Cochran, Brian Gazer, Jon Cassar and Sutherland.
